Digital Content Manager - Online retail (Magento platform)
We are looking for an experienced Digital Content Manager to join our company’s content development team in a remote position. You will be responsible for coordinating various content-related tasks for our website to ensure the operational success of our content marketing goals.
You will also be working closely with the Content Marketing Manager and the Senior Content Developer to oversee the content presented on our website and social media pages. Your daily tasks will include identifying changes in the content, uploading newly revised content on the website, and maintaining our content library.
Our ideal candidate should have relevant experience in content administration and be familiar with content management systems like WordPress. You must have strong writing and proofreading skills to review, revise, and update content as per our business needs.
We prefer candidates with an academic background in content writing or a similar field. A proven track record of managing a content team is a plus.
Responsibilities
Manage the website’s content updates, publishing, and optimization, including images, videos, landing pages, etc
Coordinate the scheduling, reviewing, and publishing of website content by collaborating with the Content Development team
Perform quality checks on administrative and marketing content by reviewing relevance and accessibility before publishing
Manage multiple content priorities by implementing content management tools to streamline workflow and efficiency
Maintain the functionality and updates on the website by supporting the Web Development team to address multiple queries
Manage content publishing timelines by monitoring the content calendar and supervising the progress of deliverables
Ensure the website content is user-friendly, optimized, and relevant to industry practices to reduce bounce rate
Translate data findings into content solutions by researching current and emerging trends, web analytics, etc
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
2+ years of experience with a content marketing firm
Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills
Ability to review, edit, and publish various content formats
Proficiency in one or more CMS; WordPress is preferred
Solid understanding of HTML formatting and Photoshop editing
Knowledge of content publishing processes and tools
Experience in SEO copywriting is preferred
